We condemn this incident and ask for patience as we work to
restore services as soon as possible.
We regret any inconvenience caused during this challenging period.
Surprise! 🎉 We brought our Passport to Millions grand prize winner to the office for an unforgettable celebration.

This year we celebrate something truly special... 156 years of serving Jamaica.
It is a milestone that gives us a moment to reflect on just how far we have come. Our story began in 1870, when the first subsea cable was laid between Port Morant and Cuba, connecting Jamaica to the rest of the world. From that moment, we have continued to be part of the moments that changed how Jamaicans connect with each other and with the world.
We were there for the first telephones in 1878, the first Trans-Atlantic call in 1956, the birth of cellular service in 1991, the emergence of the internet in 1995, and now, this year we made history again with the launch of Jamaica’s first 5G network!
Through all the periods, we have stood as Jamaica’s network, built by generations of Jamaicans. From the engineers who laid that first cable, the teams who kept Jamaica connected through changing times, to the people working behind the scenes and on the front lines.

We are currently aware of issues affecting some mobile and internet services due to excavation work being carried out by an external party, which have damaged sections of our underground fibre network.
As a result, some customers may notice slower internet speeds and reduced service performance.
Our technical teams are working diligently alongside the relevant agencies to resolve the issue and restore full service in the shortest possible time.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work through this matter.
