Yesterday, we celebrated the official listing of VMIL’s J$4.8 billion corporate bond on the Jamaica Stock Exchange Bond Market, following an oversubscribed public offering driven by strong demand from retail and institutional investors.

The listing represents more than a successful capital raise. It reflects investor confidence in VMIL and reinforces our commitment to expanding access to wealth creation and deepening Jamaica’s capital markets.

VM Investments Limited recently donated desktop computers, keyboards and mice to Dallas Primary & Infant School in Dallas Castle, St. Andrew, helping to strengthen access to technology and digital learning for students ages 3 to 13.

The handover held special significance as the school is the alma mater of VMIL CEO Rez Burchenson, bringing his journey full circle through an opportunity to give back to the institution that contributed to his early educational foundation.

Through our ESG programme, VMIL remains committed to supporting education and creating opportunities that equip young Jamaicans with the tools they need to learn, grow and thrive.

VMIL was represented by Dwight Jackson, AVP – Capital Markets, Alternative Financing and Private Equity Investments, at Day 1 of CARIF 2026 in Miami.

The forum brought together regional governments, investors, development institutions, utilities and private-sector leaders to explore how the Caribbean can mobilise and structure the capital required to deliver more resilient infrastructure.

From project bankability and alternative financing to PPPs and emerging regional investment pipelines, the conversations highlighted both the scale of the region's infrastructure needs and the opportunity for financial institutions and investment partners to contribute to solutions.
