When I was about 10 years old, I watched a travel special about unique hotels around the world.
One of the places featured was The Venetian in Las Vegas.
I remember being completely fascinated by the indoor canals, painted sky and extravagant Italian-inspired facades. 🇮🇹✨
That little glimpse of Las Vegas stayed with me for almost three decades.
Then, as a grown-up, I finally got to fulfill that childhood travel dream—with my husband by my side. ❤️
We decided to splurge on a private gondola ride, and our gondolier even serenaded us along the way. 🎶🚣‍♀️
It's funny how travel dreams can stick with us.
Sometimes you don't get to check them off your list when you're 10…
Sometimes you get to wait nearly 30 years and experience them with your true love. 🥹❤️
