What a Wonderful Summer Journey!
This year's Summer Holiday Experience for Employees' Children was truly special and unique!
In collaboration with Zaha Cultural Center, we organized a series of exciting open days that introduced children to diverse learning and development activities 🎨📚. They also had the opportunity to spend a full day at their parents’ workplace and take part in a comprehensive tour of the port facilities ⚓🏗️, giving them an insightful look into their parents’ work environment.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to bringing joy to the children and making this summer holiday both fun and memorable. We wish them all the best as they return to school and begin a successful new academic year 🎒📖✨.

شركة ميناء حاويات العقبة تحقق رقماً قياسياً جديداً للشهر الثاني على التوالي بمناولة أكثر من 104 آلاف حاوية نمطية خلال شهر آب 2026
حققت شركة ميناء حاويات العقبة، بوابة العالم إلى الأردن ومنطقة المشرق العربي وما حوله، رقماً قياسياً جديداً للشهر الثاني على التوالي، وذلك خلال شهر آب 2026، إثر مناولة أكثر من 104 آلاف حاوية نمطية (TEU) عبر 58 سفينة. ويُعد آب، الشهر الثاني الذي تكسر خلاله الشركة حاجز الـ100 ألف حاوية نمطية، بعد الرقم القياسي الذي سجلته في شهر تموز الماضي بواقع 101,900 حاوية نمطية، وهو ما يعكس استمرار الزخم التشغيلي للشركة رغم الاضطرابات التجارية الإقليمية.
هذا وكانت الشركة قد واصلت خلال شهر آب من العام الحالي، أداءها القوي في ما يتعلق بحركة البضائع العابرة (الترانزيت) للشهر الثالث على التوالي؛ إذ بلغ حجم البضائع العابرة خلال الشهر أكثر من 20 ألف حاوية نمطية، منها أكثر من 10 آلاف حاوية نمطية متجهة إلى العراق، الأمر الذي يعزز الدور المتنامي لميناء الحاويات كمحور لوجستي إقليمي يربط الأردن بأسواق المشرق العربي الأوسع.
وشهدت حركة الواردات خلال الشهر تعافياً ملحوظاً، حيث وصلت إلى 36 ألف حاوية نمطية، في حين سجلت حركة الشاحنات عبر بوابات الميناء رقماً قياسياً جديداً تمثل بأكثر من 43 ألف حركة، من ضمنها أكثر من 35 ألف حركة تسليم للبضائع المستوردة، وهو ما يعكس قدرة الشركة وميناء الحاويات على استيعاب وإدارة أحجام تشغيل مرتفعة مع الحفاظ على أعلى مستويات الخدمة المقدمة للعملاء وشركاء سلسلة التوريد.
وقد عزت الشركة الأداء المميز الذي حققته خلال آب إلى التنسيق الوثيق مع سلطة منطقة العقبة الاقتصادية الخاصة، ووزارة النقل، وإلى التعاون المثمر مع الشركاء الرئيسيين، الأمر الذي أسهم في خفض إشغال الساحات، ودعم انسيابية وضمان استمرارية تدفق حركة السفن والشاحنات طوال شهر آب.
وفي تعليق له على هذا الأداء، قال الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة ميناء حاويات العقبة، خوسيه رويدا: "يعكس ما حققناه خلال شهر آب مدى تفاني كوادرنا التي تواصل عملها الدؤوب وجهودها المخلصة لضمان سير عملياتنا وفق أعلى المعايير. وتشكل هذه الجهود، إلى جانب أفضل الممارسات العالمية التي توظفها شركة إيه بي إم تيرمينالز في كافة جوانب عملياتنا، ركيزة أساسية تمكننا من مواصلة الارتقاء بمستوى الجودة والموثوقية الذي يتوقعه عملاؤنا باستمرار.".
وأضاف رويدا: "ما كان لنا أن نحقق النتائج التي حققناها لولا شركائنا الذين عملوا وتعاونوا معنا بشكل وثيق في كل مرحلة لتحقيق هذا الإنجاز، ولولا جهود فريقنا الذي يواصل تقديم أداء متميزحتى في أصعب الظروف، والذي أنتهز الفرصة للإعراب عن مدى فخري بما يحققه وسيواصل تحقيقه من إنجازات."
Aqaba Container Terminal Delivers Back-to-Back Monthly Record, Handling More Than 104,000 TEUs in August 2026
Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT), the preferred gateway to Jordan, the Levant, and beyond, achieved a second consecutive monthly record in August 2026, handling more than 104,000 Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) across 58 vessel calls. This marks the second time in three months that the terminal has surpassed the 100,000 TEU threshold, following July's record of 101,900 TEUs, and underscores ACT's sustained operational momentum amid ongoing regional trade disruption.
August also extended the terminal's strong run of transit (transshipment) performance, now in its third consecutive month, with transit volumes reaching more than 20,000 TEUs for the month — over 10,000 TEUs of which were destined for Iraq, reaffirming ACT's growing role as a regional logistics hub connecting Jordan to the wider Levant market.
Local import cargo also showed a solid recovery during the month, climbing back to 36,000 TEUs, while truck gate activity reached a new high of more than 43,000 visits, including over 35,000 import delivery transactions — reflecting the terminal's capacity to sustain high-volume operations without compromising service levels for customers and supply-chain partners.
ACT credited the month's performance to close coordination with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), the Ministry of Transport, and other key partners, whose collaboration helped reduce yard density and maintain continuity of vessel and truck flow throughout August.

A proud moment for Aqaba Container Terminal!
We were honored to welcome PIL's 14,000 TEU LNG dual-fuel vessel, Kota Ebony, on her maiden call to Aqaba on 21 August. On 23 August, our team joined PIL colleagues aboard the vessel for a special ceremony with Master Capt. Sun Jinjian, commemorating this first call at our port.
This visit reflects the growing strength of ACT's connectivity on the Red Sea Service (RS2) route, which links Aqaba to key global markets across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. It's also a reminder of our shared commitment with PIL to a greener, more sustainable shipping future — Kota Ebony's LNG dual-fuel design is a step toward exactly that.
Congratulations to PIL and the crew of Kota Ebony on this memorable first call. And we look forward to supporting many more successful calls and strengthening Aqaba’s position as a key gateway for regional and global trade.
لحظة فخر لميناء حاويات العقبة
كان لنا الشرف بإستقبال السفينة Kota Ebony التابعة لشركة PIL، بسعة 14,000 حاوية نمطية وتعمل بوقود الغاز الطبيعي المسال المزدوج، في أول زيارة لها لميناء العقبة بتاريخ 21 آب 2026. وفي يوم 23 آب انضم فريقنا إلى زملائنا من PIL على متن السفينة في احتفال خاص مع القبطان Sun Jinjian، احتفاءً بهذه الزيارة الأولى لمينائنا.
تعكس هذه الزيارة النمو المستمر في شبكة اتصال ميناء العقبة عبر خط Red Sea Service (RS2)، الذي يربط العقبة بأسواق عالمية رئيسية في آسيا والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا. كما تُجسّد التزامنا المشترك مع PIL بمستقبل شحن بحري أكثر استدامة وصداقة للبيئة — فتصميم Kota Ebony المزدوج الوقود يمثل خطوة حقيقية في هذا الاتجاه.
