AraGen Biotechnology

AraGen biotechnology was established in 1998 as a subsidiary of the Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company (JPM) specialized in development and manufacturing of diagnostic tools and kits. AraGen is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certified. All technologies involved in AraGen products are the result of in-house research and development. AraGen research has resulted in over twenty one international patents at various stages of approval. This places AraGen products at the cutting edge of developments in this field. AraGen diagnostic tools and kits cover two main areas;

The first area is rapid diagnostics for consumer and health workers. This area is concerned with clinical diagnostics such as fertility testing, cardiology markers, infectious agents, cancer markers ... etc. The second area is DNA technology diagnostic tests with wide ranging applications including the early detection of cancer and infectious diseases such as HIV and hepatitis. In addition to these two broad areas, the AraGen product portfolio includes blood grouping kits, febrile antigen kits, latex diagnostic kits, urine analysis strips, Elisa kits, and others. All AraGen products are validated according to current best practices.
