HCDP targets the whole community with the aim of improved quality of life in the slums. Vision:

To facilitate the holistic transformation of women and youth through mind change, character development, enhanced livelihoods and a dignified environment as well as to facilitate better care for the children. Core Values:

HCDP focuses on the following key activities:
 Youth empowerment
 Elderly care and support
 Skill development
 Preventive health
 Drug and substance abuse management. Purpose of HCDP:
1.To empower the Kamukunji community youth, men and women to maximize their potential, through improved living standards.
2.Economic empowerment of our youth by linking them to income generating opportunities.
3.Work, lobby, and advocate for improved living standards and environment within the Kamukunji slums.
4.Establish a conducive environment for community engagement, gender sensitization, and initiatives for vulnerable people.
