Kipchumba rop

For the past 3 weeks, this little bird has made it a habit to perch on my side mirror every morning when I drive into work. A few minutes later, it’s usually joined by another one, whom I had confidently assumed was the girlfriend, judging by how animated and giggly they always seem together.

They have become part of my morning routine. At one point, I even convinced myself it was anyuola monitoring my movements.

But this morning, the bird showed up alone. I waited for the girlfriend to arrive so that I drive in. Nothing.

He just sat there looking unusually quiet and defeated. He even kept peeping through my window as if checking whether I had noticed his pain… you know… King to King.

This one has definitely been dumped by the short birdie…
