Nothing beats the sound of clean water splashing into a jerrican. When the hand pump of the Muliswa community broke down, it meant long walks and heavy lifting for local families just to get daily water. However, stories like this are meant to have happy endings. Thanks to an incredible effort by our repair team the pump is fixed. The smiles on everyone's faces say it all. Clean, safe water is officially flowing right where it belongs.

The Lifewater RESCUE Kenya drilling team never starts a project without first dedicating our machinery, our mission, and the community to the Source of all life. With faith as our foundation, we are always ready to watch clean water and answered prayers flow.
This video of water continuously flowing from the borehole speaks for itself. The seemingly endless supply of water is a clear indication of just how much water is available underground. It keeps flowing and flowing, showing the remarkable abundance and potential of this borehole as a reliable source of water for the community.

Today we celebrate more than the opening of a new latrine at Kamaende Primary School in Mwingi, we celebrate better health and dignity for our students. This facility, constructed by Lifewater RESCUE Kenya with support from Lifewater Canada will provide a clean and safe environment, reduce the spread of disease, improve attendance, and help every child learn with confidence. May it serve the school well for many years to come.

The Kaluma community in Mwingi previously depended on a well where water was accessed in a way that posed significant safety risks and increasing the likelihood of water contamination. The well was later rehabilitated and equipped with a hand pump, providing the community with safe, clean, and reliable access to water.
