SCRIPTURE UNION OF KENYA

What has God done for you lately? Big or small, we’d love to hear your story. Your testimony could be the encouragement someone else needs today. Share with us in the comments.

For three days in Mathare, 28 Sunday School teachers gathered with one shared purpose: to serve children better. But somewhere between the conversations, role plays, Scripture, questions and prayers, something deeper happened.
Teachers who came tired or discouraged began to rediscover their calling. Some recognized practices that needed to change. Others found fresh courage to keep showing up for the children entrusted to them.
Because children’s ministry is more than a lesson plan. It is about shaping hearts and the heart of the teacher matters too. The training was anchored on Scripture Union’s newly developed curriculum, Sunday School Basics.
Facilitated by Scripture Union of Kenya in partnership with World Vision, the three-day training was not just about equipping teachers with skills, but renewing their hearts for the work.
