Lately, I've been thinking a lot about purpose.

One thing I truly believe is that each of us has a unique purpose. As for me, I know mine is rooted in Christ. Do I have the full picture? Not yet. 😊 And that's okay.

Sometimes it feels like I'm putting together a puzzle. With every season, every experience, every lesson, and even every challenge, another piece falls into place. I'm still learning, still growing, and still discovering who God has created me to be.

One of my biggest prayers is, "Lord, help me see the full picture of the purpose You've placed in my life, and give me the courage to walk in it."

If you're a young woman who feels like you're still figuring things out, I just want to encourage you: don't rush the process. You don't have to have all the answers today. Keep seeking God, keep taking the next faithful step, and trust that He knows exactly where He's leading you.

The journey of discovering your purpose is just as beautiful as living it. ❤️

As for me, my week has been overwhelming 😅. Whenever life gets that overwhelming, I usually take a break from my online presence and focus on the tasks at hand.

📸Today, I thought of sharing this masterpiece. This beautiful Kanga, also known as Chitenje in Chichewa, was a gift from my Kenyan sis. It really needed to be placed on a frame for its beautiful artwork to be displayed.

Making disciples of Jesus Christ. 🥳 Wherever God leads me, I will go. Whatever profession He entrusts to me, I will serve Him faithfully and make disciples for His glory. 👩‍⚕️👨‍💼

In my first year of pursuing my undergraduate degree I often found myself asking:

"What is an irrigation engineer doing in a Chemistry lab? 😅 How are alkenes, alkanes, and alkanols going to help me in irrigation? Shouldn't I be in the workshop fabricating something?"

Little did I know that those chemistry lessons would become so valuable.

When I started my MSc research, I realized that a significant part of my study involved chemistry. 🙌😂 One of the biggest challenges was learning to integrate engineering with chemistry. Thanks to the interdisciplinary nature of research, I had the opportunity to work closely with chemists throughout my study, and I am truly grateful for the knowledge and skills I gained through that experience.

Looking back now, I guess Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) knew exactly what it was doing.😅

Sometimes, the courses we question the most turn out to be the ones we appreciate the most.

Make hay while the sun shines.

To my fellow youths: The opportunities we have today may not be there tomorrow, so let us use them wisely.

While you are still young, your mind is fresh, and you have fewer responsibilities, take advantage of this season to focus on your education. Invest in learning and in building your skills.

Your education may not pay off immediately or give you the results you hope for today, but the knowledge and qualifications you gain shall open doors when you least expect it. The effort you make today creates opportunities for your future.

Psalm 146:5 says, "Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God."

As I was reflecting on this verse, I began thinking about how life can sometimes place us in situations where we depend on someone or something for success or a better life. While there is nothing inherently wrong with receiving help from others, the problem arises when we place our trust and hope in people or material things instead of putting our full trust in the Lord.

I thought about situations where some girls offer their bodies to men in exchange for money or other benefits.

I also thought about situations where some girls offer their bodies to men in exchange for promotions at work.

These are just a few examples of what can happen when we place our trust in people or worldly opportunities rather than in God.

But let me tell you, my reader—Put your full trust in the Lord. Place all your hope in Him. He has promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." He is the One who holds your life, your destiny, and your future in His hands. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

When I say modesty is beautiful, I truly mean it. 😊 Beauty and dignity can coexist. ❤️

Then, to my delight, I came across the Modest Fashion Event.

How I wish I had been there!

The ladies were beautifully covered, yet they looked elegant, stunning, and confident. ✨
