This team of 5 served over 24 CUs together with their team leaders and volunteer staff. This is how they describe their STEM Year:

✅John Peter who served in Nakuru CUs testifies:
"Support raising was a term that initially made my heart skip a beat. Finding a hundred ministry partners was not easy. I still recall the words of one of the people I had approached, who was actually a former STEMmer. He told me, "The people you expect may not be the ones who support you, for it is God who provides." Indeed, most of the partners who supported me were those I least expected. Some of them I have never even met in person.

One of the greatest frustrations I experienced during support raising was when some people promised to support me but never did. The greatest lesson I learned through this process was to trust in the Lord rather than in my own efforts or skills. Throughout the journey, I witnessed God's faithfulness in every step.

My mobilization and partnership development skills have greatly improved, and I will carry them with me as I enter the job market. I am grateful to FOCUS Kenya for equipping me with this valuable skill."
