US President Donald Trump vowed fresh strikes on Iran Thursday, adding that US forces would soon seize the country’s key oil infrastructure.

The US military will hit Iran “VERY HARD TONIGHT,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

“At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela,” he added.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that the Armed Forces detected 24 hostile drones within the country’s airspace over the past 48 hours and dealt with them in accordance with established procedures.

Spokesman of Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense Colonel Staff Saud Al-Atwan said in a statement that the hostile Iranian attack resulted in limited material damage with no reported casualties.

Al-Atwan affirmed that the Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties with high readiness and efficiency to safeguard the country’s security and ensure the public’s safety.

Kuwait strongly condemns the repeated Iranian attacks on its territories, which continued with new attacks on Thursday, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

The continuation of these blatant attacks reflect a systemic hostile approach that can neither be accepted nor be tolerated, the ministry said.

Those attacks represent a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter, the ministry stressed. The attacks also undermine regional de-escalation efforts, it added.

The ministry concluded the statement by reiterating Kuwait’s right to take all necessary measures to protect its security and defend its territory and vital institutions.

The air defence systems and Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and shot down 20 missiles launched from Iran towards Al Azraq in Zarqa early Thursday, a military source said.

The source from the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army, said that the interception operation resulted in the fall of missile debris in several locations, with no injuries or property damage reported.
