Her name is Amber, a nod to the amber lager, Lagerhead, that helps make her journey visible. She came ashore to nest in Grand Cayman, where a team from the Cayman Islands Department of Environment tagged her with a satellite transmitter, which now beams her location back to researchers.

Amber’s satellite tag was funded by proceeds raised through our Lagerhead beer. Every can, pint or pitcher of Lagerhead purchased helps fund turtle research and conservation projects led by the DoE. 💌
