Point Tourbillon

This post is inspired by a very successful startup that started amid COVID crisis and despite all odds, kept growing constantly. According to the founder F. Ahmad, the secret behind this success is "intent".
"The same process with a different intent leads to a different outcome".

Indeed intent and purpose are key.
In a report published in 2021, Deloite talks about " The Purpose Premium", confirming that companies with a clear purpose have an advantage over their competitors.

In our daily practice, we constantly see that startups that have a clear intent and a valuable social, environmental or educational purpose are the ones that thrive and grow constantly.

Have we all thought about the purpose of our initiatives?
Are we on the good way to get this "Purpose Premium?"

Happiness grows when we focus on doing, contributing, and continuously improving.

One advice I consistently give the startups I mentor is this:

"Don’t rely solely on online data, and don’t expect social media to do all the promotion for you."

I am a strong believer in the power of small, face-to-face meetings with stakeholders—whether it’s gathering client feedback, discussing a new product launch, exploring partnerships, or analyzing challenges.

What makes these conversations different?

It’s the peer dynamics they create, the honesty they encourage, and the depth they achieve. They provide a unique opportunity to ask questions, probe further, and truly understand the “why” behind decisions, behaviours, and needs.

Indeed. Technology, data, and AI are powerful enablers, but meaningful human interactions remain irreplaceable. Sometimes, the most valuable insights don’t come from dashboards or analytics—they emerge from a conversation around a table.
