ماذا كان يُبنى تحت أقدام اللبنانيين؟

في الرابع من آب، نقف دقيقة صمتٍ إجلالًا لأرواح الضحايا، وتضامنًا مع الناجين، واستذكارًا لمدينةٍ واجهت واحدة من أقسى المحن في تاريخها.

تبقى هذه الذكرى شاهدًا على وجعٍ لم يغب، وعلى إصرار اللبنانيين على النهوض رغم كل التحديات. فبيروت، التي تألمت، أثبتت مرةً بعد مرة أن إرادة الحياة فيها أقوى من الدمار.

ومع استئناف المسار القضائي وتحقيق تقدّم في مجريات التحقيق، يتجدّد الأمل بأن تصل القضية إلى الحقيقة الكاملة وتتحقق العدالة التي طال انتظارها.

في هذه الذكرى، نجدد تمسكنا بالحقيقة، والمحاسبة، والعدالة، وفاءً لمن فقدنا، وحفاظًا على حق الأجيال القادمة في وطنٍ لا تتكرر فيه المآسي.

في عيده، نحيّي الجيش اللبناني، حامي الوطن والضامن لسيادته ووحدته. كل التحية لجنوده، وكل الوفاء لشهدائه.

نعم لجيشٍ واحد، وحده يبسط سلطة الدولة على كامل الأراضي اللبنانية.

كل عام وجيشنا بألف خير.

بعد طول غياب، عدتُ إلى وزارة التنمية الإدارية، كوزيرة سابقة وضيفة، بدعوة من معالي الوزير فادي مكي، للمشاركة في إعادة إطلاق منصة "دولتي".

لهذه المنصة وقعٌ خاص بالنسبة لي، إذ كنّا قد عملنا عليها مع فريق الوزارة عام 2019، ودعمنا إطلاقها، إلا أن الظروف حالت دون تنفيذها في حينه.

يسعدني أن أراها تعود اليوم إلى الواجهة، على أمل أن تُطبَّق فعليًا كمنصة تُسهل معاملات المواطنين وتسرّع مسار التحوّل الرقمي في لبنان. صحيح أننا تأخرنا كثيرًا مقارنةً بما يشهده العالم من تطورات رقمية.

After a long absence, I returned to the Ministry of Administrative Development—this time not as a minister, but as a former minister and guest—at the invitation of H.E. Minister Fadi Makki to take part in the relaunch of the Dawlati platform.

This platform holds special significance for me. Together with the Ministry's team, we worked on it in 2019 and supported its launch, but circumstances at the time prevented it from being implemented.

I am truly pleased to see it return today, and I hope it will finally be put into practice as a platform that simplifies citizens' access to government services and accelerates Lebanon's digital transformation. While we have undoubtedly fallen far behind the rapid pace of digital progress around the world, it is never too late to move in the right direction.

I wish this initiative, and everyone behind it, every success.

As every year, I was pleased to attend the celebration of France's National Day at the Pine Palace, hosted by H.E. Ambassador Hervé Magro, alongside, Consul General Éric Amblard🇫🇷🇱🇧

Standing for both the Lebanese and French national anthems was a meaningful reminder of the deep ties that unite our two countries and the shared values that continue to strengthen this longstanding friendship.

As both a French citizen and a member of the Légion d'Honneur, this occasion always holds a special place for me. It is a privilege to celebrate the enduring bond between France and Lebanon and to look ahead with hope for a sovereign, stable, and prosperous Lebanon.

كما في كل عام، سُررت بالمشاركة في الاحتفال بالعيد الوطني الفرنسي في قصر الصنوبر، بدعوة من سعادة سفير فرنسا في لبنان، السيد هيرفيه ماغرو، وبحضور القنصل العام الفرنسي، السيد إيريك أمبلار. 🇫🇷🇱🇧

وكان الوقوف احترامًا للنشيدين الوطنيين اللبناني والفرنسي محطةً مؤثرة، جسّدت عمق الروابط التي تجمع بلدينا، والقيم المشتركة التي ما زالت تعزز هذه الصداقة التاريخية والمتينة.

وبصفتي مواطنة فرنسية وعضوًا في وسام جوقة الشرف الفرنسية (Légion d'Honneur)، يحمل هذا الموعد السنوي بالنسبة إليّ مكانة خاصة. فهو مناسبة للاحتفاء بالعلاقة الراسخة بين فرنسا ولبنان، وللتطلع بثقة وأمل إلى لبنان سيد، مستقر، ومزدهر.

تشرفت بتسلّم جائزة "الرسالة الإعلامية" في بعدها الإنساني، خلال حفل Top Humanity Leaders Awards الذي أُقيم في دبي، برعاية كريمة من سمو الشيخ ذياب بن سلطان بن خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان، وتنظيم الدكتور باسم الحلبي، وبحضور نخبة من الشخصيات الرسمية والإعلامية والفنية والإنسانية من مختلف أنحاء العالم.

هو تكريم أعتز به لأنه يحتفي بالإعلام الذي يحمل رسالة ومسؤولية، ويؤمن بأن الكلمة الحرة قادرة على إحداث التغيير، وترسيخ قيم الحقيقة والكرامة والإنسانية.

أهدي هذا التكريم إلى كل من آمن بأن الإعلام ليس مجرد مهنة، بل رسالة، وأن الدفاع عن الحقيقة والحرية والإنسان يبقى أسمى من أي منصب أو لقب.

كل الشكر للقائمين على هذه المبادرة الراقية، للدكتور باسم الحلبي، والدكتورة أمل ملحم، ولكل من يواصل تكريم أصحاب الرسالة وصنّاع الأثر الإنساني.

Honored to have received an award at the Top Humanity Leaders Awards ceremony in Dubai, held under the gracious patronage of H.H. Sheikh Dhiab bin Sultan bin Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and organized by Dr. Basem Al-Halabi. The event brought together an exceptional gathering of government officials, distinguished media figures, artists, and humanitarian leaders from across the region and beyond.

The ceremony celebrated a number of Dubai government entities, as well as prominent media personalities—including the renowned journalist Emad El-Din Adeeb—alongside influential artists and individuals whose work continues to make a meaningful impact on society.

Receiving this award is a profound honor, as it recognizes journalism not merely as a profession, but as a mission. It is a tribute to the belief that truthful, responsible, and independent media can inspire change, defend human dignity, and uphold the values of freedom and humanity.

I dedicate this recognition to everyone who believes that journalism is a message of truth and responsibility, and that defending freedom, human dignity, and the pursuit of truth will always transcend any title or position.

My sincere thanks to everyone behind this distinguished initiative, Dr. Basem Al-Halabi and Dr. Amal Molhem, and to all those who continue to honor individuals of purpose and recognize those whose work leaves a lasting humanitarian impact.

As an Associate Professor at Notre Dame University (NDU), I was honored to participate in the Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2026.

The ceremony was under the patronage of H.E. Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, whose inspiring address encouraged graduates to believe in their ability to drive change, uphold reform and sovereignty, and contribute to building a stronger Lebanon. His message of hope, responsibility, and civic engagement resonated deeply with all in attendance.

Rev. Fr. Bechara El Khoury, President of NDU, delivered a note emphasizing the University’s commitment to academic excellence, human values, and its mission of educating future leaders dedicated to serving society.

It was a truly memorable evening that brought together graduates, their families, faculty members, and distinguished religious, political, military, civic, and academic leaders, to celebrate a remarkable milestone in the lives of our students.

Every moment of the ceremony reflected the values that define NDU: resilience, excellence, faith, and the pursuit of truth.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026. Your achievement reflects resilience and hope for Lebanon’s future. May you move forward with courage, purpose, and a drive to make a difference.

ك Associate Professor في جامعة سيدة اللويزة، كان لي الشرف بالمشاركة في حفل تخريج الطلاب الدفعة الجامعية للعام ٢٠٢٦.

أُقيم الحفل تحت رعاية دولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور نواف سلام، الذي ألقى كلمةً وجدانيةً ملهِمة حثَّ فيها الخرّيجين على الإيمان بقدرتهم على قيادة التغيير، والتمسك بالإصلاح والسيادة، والإسهام في بناء لبنان أقوى. وقد تردَّد صدى رسالته في الأمل والمسؤولية والانخراط المدني في قلوب جميع الحاضرين.

وألقى الأب بشارة الخوري، رئيس جامعة سيدة اللويزة، كلمةً شدّد فيها على التزام الجامعة بالتميّز الأكاديمي والقيم الإنسانية، ورسالتها في إعداد قادة المستقبل الملتزمين بخدمة المجتمع والمساهمة في بنائه وتقدّمه.

كانت أمسيةً لا تُنسى حقاً، جمعَت الخرّيجين وذويهم وأعضاء هيئة التدريس وكبار المسؤولين الدينيين والسياسيين والعسكريين والمدنيين والأكاديميين، للاحتفاء بمحطةٍ بارزة في مسيرة طلابنا.

كل لحظةٍ من لحظات الحفل القيمَ التي تُجسِّدها جامعة سيدة اللويزة: الصمود، والتميُّز، والإيمان، والسعي إلى الحقيقة.

تهانيّ الحارة لدفعة عام 2026. إن إنجازكم يجسّد روح المثابرة والأمل بمستقبل لبنان. نتمنى لكم المضيّ قدماً بشجاعةٍ وعزيمةٍ وإصرارٍ على إحداث فرقٍ إيجابي في كل خطوة من مسيرتكم.
