Polish is what is used to improve the car’s exterior before the application of extra protection like waxes, sealants, or coatings. Polish removes everything up to small scratches and often includes a solvent that allows one to match the paint as one works on the surface.

What is Car Coat?

Car coating or paint coating is the most protective, longest lasting, and most expensive of the three options. Coatings are usually applied by car detailers or automotive paint businesses and is applied as a secondary clear coat on top of the existing clear coat.
Its long-term durability (one year or more) means that this isn’t a step for everyone. Coating is generally recommended when one is worried about scratches or when one wants a solid base that can be waxed on a regular basis.
