Today, our school community gathers with hearts filled with profound sadness as we bid farewell to Serena Gustave, a beloved student whose presence touched the lives of many.

Serena was a bold, vibrant, caring, and beautiful woman whose warmth and spirit could not easily go unnoticed. She carried within her a strength that inspired others and a caring heart that made people feel valued and loved. Her smile, her laughter, her kindness, and the memories she created will remain a cherished part of the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beyond being a student, Serena was a devoted and loving mother and a cherished fiancée. Her love for her family was evident in the way she cared, supported, and gave of herself. She had dreams, hopes, and plans for the future, and it is heartbreaking that her journey has been cut short.

Today, we mourn not only the loss of a student, but the loss of a daughter, mother, fiancée, friend, and a truly special woman. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her daughter, her loved ones, her classmates, her teachers, and everyone whose life she touched.

As a school family, we stand beside Serena's loved ones in this moment of unimaginable pain. May they find strength in the love that surrounds them, comfort in the beautiful memories they shared with Serena, and peace in knowing that she will never be forgotten.

Serena, you may no longer walk beside us, but your spirit, your love, and your vibrant light will remain with us forever.
