🔍 Thinking beyond the obvious.

This Viking 65 presented an unusual electronic control issue that required a deep dive into wiring diagrams, interface modules and system logic.

It wasn't a typical marine electronics job, but solving complex technical problems rarely follows a script.

Sometimes experience isn't about knowing the answer immediately—it's knowing how to find it.

Exciting news!

The Orion XS family just got bigger!

The Orion XS is now available at 70A, bringing more charge current to one of our most popular product lines, to get the most out of your alternator output.

All the smart features and compact design you know, now with more power to charge larger house battery banks.

🔧 Where the magic happens.
Not every marine electronics problem is solved onboard. Many repairs, diagnostics, software updates, and system tests start right here at the bench before we ever step onto a boat.
From Raymarine and Victron systems to charging systems, lithium batteries, watermakers, and fault finding, having the right tools and experience makes all the difference.
It's not the most glamorous part of the job, but it's often where the real troubleshooting happens.

Always exciting when a new project starts taking shape.
This Moorings phase-out boat is in for a Raymarine upgrade, replacing the existing Axiom 9 with a new Axiom 2 display and adding an AIS700 transceiver.
All the equipment has arrived, so now it's time for planning, preparation, and installation. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.

Meet the face behind Regis Electronics.

I'm Jon White, owner of Regis Electronics.

Since 1999, I've been helping boat owners throughout the Caribbean solve electrical and electronics problems, improve reliability, and get the most from their onboard systems.

The technology has changed dramatically over the years, but the job remains the same: understanding how systems work, diagnosing problems efficiently, and providing practical solutions that keep boats operating safely and reliably.

After 36 years in the marine industry, I still enjoy the challenge of troubleshooting complex faults and helping customers find the right solution for their vessel.

Thank you to all the customers who have trusted Regis Electronics over the years. Your support is truly appreciated.

Returning to their boat anchored off Dominica, our customer found a complete blackout—no lights, no fridges, no comms. It wasn’t a simple fix: a voltage sensing issue from the battery monitor had caused the lithium system to overvoltage and shut down. Remotely, we guided them step by step—resetting the system, restoring power, and getting them back on course—no parts replaced. Real remote support. Real results.

Preparing for hurricane season storage.
This Spectra Ventura 150C is being pickled before the owner leaves the boat for the summer.
Proper preservation protects the membrane during long periods of inactivity and helps ensure the system is ready to produce fresh water when the owner returns.
It's a simple maintenance procedure that can prevent expensive problems later.

There's nothing better than hearing from satisfied customers.

This project involved optimizing the solar and lithium system aboard SY Holiday, an Outremer 51 catamaran. Reliable power management is critical for modern cruising yachts, and it's always rewarding to help owners get the very best performance from their systems.

A big thank you to Bo Andreini and SY Holiday for taking the time to leave such a fantastic review.

Since 1999, we've been helping cruising and charter yachts throughout Saint Lucia and the Caribbean with:
