Sadly chartering on Shadow has come to an end.
On the plus side, I am just too busy doing private skippering and deliveries.
Plus I am too old for all that running around, father time just gives the odd jab to remind me that years are passing so bucket list is more prominent.
If you hear of someone needing a captain for the Pacific in 2025, give me a shout!

This Covid scenario has been a game changer. From Dec 1st, the only game in town for SV Shadow is a cruise to St Vincent and the Grenadines. St Vincent is allowing visitors to fly in, stay in a registered hotel for 5 days and providing no sign of Covid, we can then go cruising for the remainder of your trip. 2 hotels I recommend, Blue Lagoon in St Vincent and The Plantation in Bequia. We may even be able to mix and match them. The hotels cost $150 per person per day for 5 days which includes all meals. For the next 9 days, we have to call monitor temperatures but have freedom to move around and you will get a delightful tour with only a fraction of the traffic as normal. If you really want to escape, after week 3 we have access to the "bubble", Grenada, St Vincent, St Lucia, Dominica, Antigua and St Kitts and Nevis.
There is no better time to visit paradise!

Currently in the UK playing "dodge the virus" whilst attempting land adventures. Booked back to St L end of October, hope there is a season to look forward to! Aim for this year is to go north more, probably up to St Martin and all islands in between. Usual rules, "the plan is there is no plan". 🤐☺
