He held a mini CATStration day in Kaikawala, Induruwa today with his helper and sterilised 5 dogs 🐕 and 10 cats 🐈 by himself! Let’s hear it for Mudi 👏🏽🙌🏽👏🏽

This little girl was dumped on Induruwa Beach.
Looking for urgent fosters or homes ‼️ She’s around 6:7 weeks.
MAFS will vaccinate and sterilise when she’s ready 🙏🏼

Another rehoming success for MAFS! ♥️
After Marie’s owner died the little dog was left all alone, being fed once a day and living outside. 💔
One of our MAFS team found out about this and we quickly found her a home, with another of our rescues Tommy and his best friend Lisa.
Do you remember that love story?? They have been together about 5 or 6 months now but were more than happy to meet and accept Marie into their little family.

🐾 Happy International Dog Day! 🐾❤️
Today is all about celebrating the wonderful dogs who bring so much love, loyalty, laughter and companionship into our lives.
Whether they share our homes or our streets, every dog deserves kindness, care, protection and respect. 🐶❤️
International Dog Day is also a reminder that animal welfare is about so much more than adoption. It’s about responsible ownership, proper care, vaccination, sterilisation, kindness and understanding how we can live alongside the dogs in our communities.

Our sterilisation day in Miriswatta yesterday was a resounding success! The teams involved worked tirelessly and seamlessly together. This is what animal welfare workers aim for. And we did it 😁🐾
Better lives for 73 dogs 🐕 & 3 cats! 🐈
