In partnership with the Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists, Morison launched Sri Lanka's first structured Certificate Course in Diabetes Care for primary healthcare professionals. We are proud to celebrate the graduation of over 60 healthcare professionals from the fourth intake, marking four consecutive successful programmes over the past two years.

මොරිසන් සමාගම, ශ්‍රී ලංකා අන්තඃස්‍රාවී විද්‍යාඥයින්ගේ සංගමය (Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists) සමඟ එක්ව, ප්‍රාථමික සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා වෘත්තිකයන් උදෙසා ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රථම ව්‍යුහගත "දියවැඩියා සත්කාර සහතික පත්‍ර පාඨමාලාව" ආරම්භ කරන ලදී. පසුගිය වසර දෙක තුළ අඛණ්ඩව සාර්ථකව පවත්වන ලද මෙම වැඩසටහනේ 4වන කණ්ඩායම නියෝජනය කරමින්, සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා වෘත්තිකයන් 60 දෙනෙකුට වැඩි පිරිසක් සාර්ථකව පාඨමාලාව නිම කිරීම ගැන අපි ආඩම්බර වෙමු.

இலங்கை உட்சுரப்பியலாளர்கள் கல்லூரியுடன் (Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists) இணைந்து, ஆரம்ப சுகாதார பராமரிப்பு நிபுணர்களுக்கான இலங்கையின் முதலாவது நெறிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட 'நீரிழிவு பராமரிப்பு சான்றிதழ் பாடநெறியை' (Certificate Course in Diabetes Care) மொரிசன் நிறுவனம் அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது. கடந்த இரண்டு ஆண்டுகளில் தொடர்ச்சியாக நடத்தப்பட்ட நான்கு வெற்றிகரமான திட்டங்களின் தொடர்ச்சியாக, இதன் நான்காவது குழுவில் பயிற்சி பெற்ற 60-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட சுகாதார நிபுணர்களின் பட்டமளிப்பு விழாவைக் கொண்டாடுவதில் நாங்கள் பெருமிதம் கொள்கிறோம்.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the appointment of our Managing Director, Dinesh Athapaththu, as the President of the Sri Lanka Pharma Manufacturers' Association (SLPMA) at the 60th Annual General Meeting of SLPMA, held on 27 July 2026.

In his Presidential Address, "Driving the National Call Forward," he emphasised the possibility of positioning pharmaceutical manufacturing as the next thrust sector in Sri Lanka and the need for all stakeholders to come together to make this bold vision a reality.

One in every four Sri Lankan adults is living with diabetes. Addressing this growing epidemic cannot rest solely with a handful of specialists. It requires empowering primary healthcare professionals with the latest knowledge and practical skills to diagnose, manage, and support people living with diabetes.

This shared vision inspired the Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists (SLCE), in partnership with Morison, to launch Sri Lanka’s first structured Certificate Course in Diabetes Care for primary healthcare professionals.

We are humbled and proud to celebrate another milestone, the graduation of over 60 healthcare professionals from the 4th intake, marking four consecutive successful programs over the past two years.

The Certificate Awarding Ceremony was held on 27 June 2026 at the SLMA Auditorium, with Dr. Champika Wickramasinghe, Deputy Director General of Health Services – NCD, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.
