Armed with innate creativity and skills, Shashika has been involved in various creative activities since childhood. By age 10, he played local instruments such as Gata Bera, Yak Bera, and Thammattam. He later played oriental instruments such as the Violin, Flute, and Tabla. What made it special was that he learned it all alone with the direction of his beloved teachers. In 2018 he founded his own label Hela Recordings and released his first EP, "Foresight." He enlisted the support of local and foreign DJs such as R3SPAWN and Avadox. His participation with BLXT in the 2019 Spinnin' Records' Blasterjaxx contest won second place on the chart. Further, he remixed Prisionera, a popular song by Romanian singer Otilia featured in the 2020 Memories album via Jhaps Records. Continuing his musical career, he later joined Trend Base in 2021, launching their record label with the new single Upside Down. Later in 2021, he remixed the famous Bulgarian singer Andrea's popular song Amor Peligroso via Jhaps Records. As an influencer, Shashika has been supporting many other local artists and record companies to start and grow their careers and businesses. Shashika is well known by many of the local and global homegrown artists as one of the most supportive producers and DJs, sharing his success and experience with them. As an educator, he teaches many upcoming artists to hone their skills and improve their careers on the global stage.
