Named after the founder, Natalie Pendigrast who has over ten years experience in the industry, Pendi’s ethos is simple, clean design that reflects our Client’s lifestyle and remains relevant through changing trends and time. We, at Pendi, love to experiment with our interiors to ensure each project has its own unique character and, take time to design the smallest of details. It is the small details after all, that form the bigger picture. We offer a complete interior design service from concept through to completion. Pendi also houses a curated collection of interior lighting products and homeware designed in collaboration with a group of young designers. We take pride in the fact that all of our products are made in Sri Lanka, supporting both the designers and local tradesmen while, taking advantage of skills and materials that are mostly unique to Sri Lanka. As with our interiors, Pendi Home stands true to our belief of individuality. All of our products are part of a limited collection which, we hope will evolve and develop into a truly unique homeware range. It's why batik becomes screens, jute becomes panels and block prints become furniture. For us, craftsmanship isn't about preserving tradition exactly as it is.

This illuminated coffee table began life as the drum of a broken washing machine. What many saw as waste, we saw as possibility. Created during the uncertainty of 2021, this piece is a reminder that thoughtful design can transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. At Pendi, we believe the most sustainable design is often about giving existing materials a beautiful second life.

Designed by architect Channa Daswatte for Dendrobium House - Hanthana , this custom lighting installation explores how light can become part of the architecture itself.
Each pendant combines a handmade cane outer frame with a specially designed fibre reflector, creating a soft, ambient glow that fills the space with warmth. While the finished installation feels effortless, bringing these two materials together required careful craftsmanship to achieve a design that remained elegant, light and never bulky.
At Pendi, we believe the best design often goes unnoticed. It quietly shapes how a space feels, creating atmosphere, comfort and connection through thoughtful process.
