Created for and envisioned by architect of .interiordesign , these custom pendant lights were inspired by traditional Sri Lankan drums, reimagining heritage through contemporary design.

More than lighting, the installation became a tribute to centuries-old craftsmanship, skills passed down through generations and preserved through handmade work.

At Pendi, we believe the most meaningful spaces are the ones that carry history, story and intention within every detail. Because good design does more than fill a room. It keeps stories alive.

This custom installation for architect Channa Daswatte at Ishq Digana was inspired by the traditional Sri Lankan Pabalu Maale, reimagined through a contemporary lens.

Each brass bead was made and assembled by hand, creating a piece that brings warmth, movement and sculptural beauty to the space. At Pendi, we believe the most memorable interiors are the ones that carry meaning, craftsmanship and a story.
