Initiated in January 2026, under the auspices of the Urban Development Authority (UDA), the design and construction of the 615 housing units at Colombage Mawatha, Kirulapone represents a vital step forward in urban transformation.

The project which involves the continuation and completion of works that had been partially executed by a previous contractor includes executing structural rectifications, modifications and additional substructure and superstructure works required to resume and finalize construction across 615 housing units, each designed with a 500 sq. ft. carpet area.

The project which is scheduled for completion by mid-2028, will contribute to the government’s wider urban housing objectives by delivering a sizeable residential complex within the Colombo urban area.

Along the heavily congested Colombo–Kandy Road corridor, Access Engineering PLC is advancing the Nittambuwa, Pasyala Road Project for the Road Development Authority (RDA). By deploying innovative methodologies and prefabricated components such as precast drain sections and GPS receivers we have accelerated progress while minimizing disruption to surrounding communities.

The project includes road widening works, pavement improvements, utility relocations, drainage installations, and associated infrastructure enhancements. The scope also includes reinforced embankment construction, cross drainage structures, elevated pedestrian footways, center medians, kerbing, pavement rehabilitation, and asphalt paving works.
