Kidventures was started by Mrs Ramona Pulle, who has been in the field of early childhood education since 1996. Having qualified at UCLA in early childhood education, she is an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, USA. Ramona is also the founder and Principal of The American Preschool, one of Sri lanka’s largest and most respected preschools. The school’s philosophy of “nurturing the whole child” where all 7 intelligences of the child is developed has, over the last 12 years, produced well balanced children who are confident and are able to think out of the box. After hearing many families bemoan the lack of age appropriate after school activities that are available for their young children in the city, and following numerous requests and encouragement by our parents at The American Preschool, we decided to make Kidventures a reality. Located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood in prime residential area in central Colombo, we provide a warm, inviting and homely environment for your children. For the children to explore and discover, we have substantial open spaces including two large gardens for children to explore in a safe and secure, gated environment.
