Road to Rights is a registered youth-led, voluntary organization established in 2009, Sri Lanka. Human rights are thus conceived as universal and egalitarian.
Human rights are commonly understood as inalienable fundamental rights to which a person is inherently entitled to, simply because that individual is a human being. The mere mentioning of human rights to certain sectors of society would result in a negative response, which would outline the social stigma of the aforementioned sector towards human rights due to the mere lack of education and awareness.

Organised under the G17 Global Fellowship Program, the Road to Rights is set to host the National SDGs & Youth Leadership Summit 2026 on 15 August 2026, from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute, Colombo.
The Summit brings together young leaders, university students, professionals, entrepreneurs, educators and changemakers to explore how youth can translate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into meaningful action.
