The Western Region English Day of the John Keells English Language Scholarship Programme, sponsored by the John Keells Foundation and implemented by Gateway Language Centre, was held in Ja Ela for the students of Colombo, Ja Ela, Ranala, Moratuwa and Pannala.
The students showcased their learning via dramas and presentations on stage confidently in front of their peers and parents.

Gateway Language Centre wins big at CELC!
GLC won the 'Eminence Award' for Continuous Excellence as a Cambridge Preparation Centre, at the Cambridge English Leadership Conference (CELC) 2026 held in Colombo on 25th July 2026, for producing outstanding results in both Young Learners and Main Suite Examinations ranging from A2 Key to C2 Proficiency.
