To everyone who attended our concert at Waters Edge yesterday,

On behalf of 2FORTY2 and Billy Fernando, we would like to sincerely apologize for the experience many of you had to endure during the event.

While 2FORTY2 and Billy Fernando were the performers featured at the concert, we understand that many of you attended because of your support and trust in us. For that reason, we feel it is important to acknowledge your disappointment and frustration.

It was evident that a large number of guests experienced considerable discomfort throughout the evening. Many were unable to move around freely, access food and beverages comfortably, or enjoy the event in the manner they rightfully expected. We have also been made aware that some ticket holders experienced difficulties entering the venue despite having valid tickets.

As artists, our priority has always been to create memorable experiences for our audience. It is therefore deeply upsetting for us to know that so many of our supporters, including those who travelled from outside Colombo and overseas, were unable to enjoy the evening as intended.

Unfortunately, the night concluded with an incident involving a personal dispute between guests, resulting in the show ending in an unexpected and unfortunate manner. We are saddened that the event came to a close under such circumstances.

We take the concerns raised by our audience very seriously. We will carefully review everything that took place and do everything within our power to ensure that future events associated with our brand meet the standards of comfort, safety, and organisation that our fans deserve.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and most importantly, your continued support. We value every single person who purchases a ticket, attends a show, and stands by us through our journey.

We sincerely hope to see you all again soon under better circumstances, with a better experience, better comfort, and an evening of music that reflects the standard you deserve.
