From a 12-all first leg to a 13–12 finish in the second leg, to lose the Hayman Trophy by just one goal is heartbreaking. But we know how much effort, commitment and determination each and every one of you put into this battle.

A nail-biting 12–12 draw in the first leg of the 33rd Dr. R. L. Hayman Trophy! What an incredible battle between two determined teams, with neither side willing to give an inch. 🔥🤽‍♂️

A hat-trick each for Captain Bihandu Katugampala, Sulaiman Shihar and Dinal Wellappili, while Lithum Karunasena, Ammar Salim and Abdul Kareem chipped in with a goal each for Royal.

These boys stepped up when it mattered, showing tremendous character and fighting spirit to keep Royal in the contest!

But the battle is far from over. At 12–12, everything is still to play for.

There was nothing to separate the two teams after 32 minutes of intense water polo, with the scores locked at 12–12 at the end of the first leg! What a thrilling contest! 💙💛

Meanwhile, Royal College’s Junior Teams in the Under-15 and Under-13 categories put on commanding performances, securing impressive wins in their respective games! 👊🏆
