When it comes to speech delay, flap books are absolute game changers—but ONLY if you change how you use them! 😁

Here are 3 steps you can use
:
1️⃣ Be the script: Forget the text on the book. Use simple words like : (Uh-oh! Wow! Pop!) and funny animal sounds.

2️⃣ Build anticipation: Use the exact same phrases every time you touch a flap. “Knock, knock... who’s there?” or "peekaboo" Repetition builds confidence!

3️⃣ Embrace the silence: Say “Ready, set...” and look at them with an excited face. Give them a full 5–10 seconds to try and say “Go!” before you lift the flap.
