The Event Management Association – Sri Lanka (EMA) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of EMA Cricket Fest 2026, which brought together professionals and organizations from across Sri Lanka’s event management industry for a memorable day of competition, camaraderie and sportsmanship.

The Association extends its sincere appreciation to all participating teams whose enthusiasm, professionalism and team spirit contributed greatly to the success of the tournament.

EMA Cricket Fest 2026 🏏🏆

The Event Management Association (EMA) of Sri Lanka was proudly represented at EEMA Eemagine 2026, held at the ITC Grand Chola in Chennai, India. The three-day summit brought together top visionaries and professionals from across India’s MICE and destination wedding sectors, providing an exceptional platform to champion Sri Lanka's growing event capabilities.

Representing EMA and the broader Sri Lankan event industry were Mr. Saliya Weerasekera (President), Mr. Roshan Wijeyaratne (Inaugural President & Advisory Council Member), and Ms. Suranga Fernando (EMA Member).

In a notable highlight for the country, EMA President Mr. Saliya Weerasekera was specially invited on stage to present awards at the event—a proud moment that reflects the growing recognition, respect, and international standing of Sri Lanka’s event management industry.

Throughout the conference, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, the delegation actively showcased Sri Lanka as a premier destination for MICE and luxury weddings, engaging with key international stakeholders in an industry market estimated at over USD 42 billion.

The Event Management Association extends its deep gratitude to Mr.Samit Garg, outgoing President of EEMA, for his steadfast support of the Sri Lankan event sector. EMA also warm-heartedly congratulates incoming President Mr.Deepak Choudhary and the entire EEMA team for hosting an exceptionally organized, world-class event.

EMA remains dedicated to expanding regional partnerships, exchanging global insights, and driving the international prominence of Sri Lanka's event management sector.

Last evening, a select group of wedding planners from the Event Management Association (EMA) had the pleasure of attending an exclusive showcase hosted by BOSS at their Flagship Store in Galle Face Hotel, Colombo.

The presentation featured the latest BOSS Menswear Collection, highlighting impeccably tailored suits and refined occasion wear designed specifically for weddings, black-tie affairs, and milestone celebrations. It was an inspiring evening exploring fine tailoring aesthetics and strengthening industry partnerships.
