DIRI UYANA 2026 | Official Reveal

The Students' Society of Landscape Architecture (SSLA) proudly unveils DIRI UYANA 2026 — School Awareness and Support Program.

We are transforming Pitawalawatta Maha Vidyalaya in Gelioya into a safe and resilient environment, mitigating spatial vulnerabilities left by Cyclone Ditwah. Driven by our commitment to giving back, this initiative harnesses our landscape architectural expertise to reimagine the school grounds as a nurturing landscape where both their learning and lives can thrive.

To address the needs of their school grounds, our on-site intervention focuses on three core phases:

1️⃣ Establishing an Information Graphic System
2️⃣ Landscape Rehabilitation Proposal
3️⃣ Nature Documentation Workshop

The Canopy 2026 Photography Competition and Exhibition was successfully held with the presence of the esteemed judging panel, and the talented finalists and invitees at the Sentra Court Premises on 23rd April 2026.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our distinguished panelists, Mr. Prasad Hapuarachchi, Eng./ L.Arct. Susira Udalamaththa, and Archt. Sithumini Rathnamalala for their invaluable guidance.
