I’m not sure who this is for, but there is NO SHAME when you serve a faithful God!

When you feel like you can’t make it through the next day or the next chapter, remember: God can turn your pain into a testimony. 🙏🏽

We are natural-born fixers, but sometimes God is asking us to stop fixing, start releasing, and let Him work. Only God can change a heart.

📖 Psalm 34:19 — “The Lord delivereth him out of them all.”

Don’t stay where you are not valued, respected, or appreciated. Sometimes you have to MOVE. LEAVE. RELEASE. AND LET GOD.

📖 Isaiah 43:19 — “Behold, I will do a new thing.”

✨ It’s okay to start over in peace. Your testimony is STILL being written!

Wisdom Wednesday: Trust God & Ignore the Noise 👑💍

Yes, I said it… Mrs. Brown has entered the chat! 💍😂

But beyond the new name, I’m standing in a testimony.

People have asked me, “Shirley, what is your secret? How do you keep from breaking down? How do you keep pushing, keep smiling, and keep moving forward when life keeps throwing storms your way?”

My answer is simple: MY GOD told me to TRUST HIM and IGNORE THE NOISE.

I’ve learned that everybody doesn’t need an explanation, and every voice doesn’t deserve a response. Sometimes your greatest response is simply to keep walking, keep praying, keep smiling, and let God do the talking.

They said it wasn’t possible.
They said it wouldn’t happen.
They talked in my face and worked behind the scenes.

But the harder they tried, the more God kept preparing a table before me in the presence of them all. 🙌🏽

I’m not smiling because I haven’t faced storms. I’m smiling because I know who controls the storm. I’m not still standing because it has been easy. I’m still standing because God has been faithful.

On June 6th, I said YES to my best friend. ❤️
On August 8th, I said YES to becoming his wife. 💍

We planned a wedding in 7 days, and our village came through and showed OUT with so much love and support!

And I can’t ignore the significance:

7 — Completion.
8 — New Beginning.
8.8 — A DOUBLE NEW BEGINNING! ✨

So, my Wisdom Wednesday reminder to somebody today:

Trust God. Ignore the noise. Keep smiling. Keep moving. Keep believing.

Because what God has ordained for you does not require everybody’s approval.

And when they say, “That can’t happen…”

Just smile and say:

“Watch God.” 👑🔥
