The Sinoe County Administration, under the leadership of Superintendent Hon. Alexander Nah Sleweon is strengthening its engagement with Sinoeans in the Diaspora as part of efforts to promote collective participation in the county’s development.
In recent weeks, Superintendent Sleweon has engaged Sinoe citizens abroad through a series of teleconferences to discuss the county’s development priorities and explore opportunities for partnership.
One of these engagements was held with the leadership of the United Sarpo Association in the Americas (USAA).
The engagement has resulted in a commitment by the USAA to support the development of a new health clinic in Pellokon, Seekon District.
The proposed facility is intended to improve access to essential healthcare services for residents of Pellokon and surrounding communities.
The County Administration has welcomed the initiative and agreed to the terms outlined by the USAA.
It has also been committed to working closely with the Association and relevant local authorities to facilitate the effective use of resources and support the timely implementation of the project.
In a letter dated September 8, 2026, USAA National President Hon. William T. Manneh expressed appreciation for Superintendent Sleweon’s outreach to Sarpo citizens residing in the United States, describing the engagement as an important step toward strengthening cooperation between the County Administration and the Diaspora.
The Association also welcomed the Superintendent’s emphasis on collaboration with local leadership, including the Superintendent of Seekon District, Madam Viola Saywiah, and expressed its willingness to work closely with the County Administration on the Pellokon project.
Superintendent Sleweon has emphasized that the development of Sinoe County is a shared responsibility.
He called on Sinoeans, both at home and abroad,

Breaking News:
County Attorney and Women’s Advocate Cllr. Mmonbeydo Joah Takes Gender Minister to Task after LWSC Managing Director Mo Ali released private data of vulnerable street children
The Minister of Gender, Hon. Gbeme Horace-Kollie, has come under increased public scrutiny and critique for leaking the private information of hundreds of vulnerable street minors to the Managing Director of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC), Mr. Mo Ali.
LWSC Managing Director Mo Ali publicly shared the private data of the minors, some of whom are victims of r**e and child prostitution, on his page in an apparent move to politically justify his recent post that they are “helping ordinary citizens as individual government officials and not mean."
Mr. Mo Ali has since threatened ordinary citizens that before they receive any further "help" from government officials, citizens would be compelled “to sign a receipt which they will make public.” Ali said in his latest post which has exposed hundreds of minors to further danger, “We will even publish names of kids we have taken from the streets and schools they are in.”
The current County Attorney of Sinoe Country and a leading voice for women in Liberia, Cllr. Mmonbeydo Nadine Joah, has criticized the move by MD Ali and Gender Ministe Horace-Kollie as dangerous and very risky to those children.
Cllr. Joah wrote on Ali’s post, “This is dangerous to those children and very risky, Gbeme Horace Kollie.”
A pro-Government supporter Charle Tiah wrote, “MD Mo Ali, this is a violation of data privacy.”
“The sad conditions of hundreds of disadvantaged street children, some of whom are child prostitutes and victims of r**e, have now been turned into a political tool by government publicists. Wow. Imagine leaking the data of very vulnerable children who are already at serious risk. Even exposing their schools. Wow,” another commenter said.
What MD Mo Ali failed to tell the public in his Facebook post, which has now placed hundreds of vulnerable children at serious risk, is that “The Save The Future Project” private documents that he released is a project sponsored by UNICEF and GOL budgetary support; and not any personal contribution from him or other public officials.
Now that the privacy of hundreds of vulnerable children at serious risk have been violated and breached, further exposing them to danger. Who accounts for this?
More details to follow. This is a developing story.

President Boakai at Lonestar fund raising
"Our ambition cannot be limited to one qualification campaign or one tournament. We must build a Lone Star that is consistently competitive, professionally managed, properly prepared and continuously supplied with new talent.”
“From this administration on, Lone Star will never be running around looking for funds. We are going to support.”
“People who go to play must not worry about anything other than their job, which is to play. Our responsibility is to make sure that, from this time, Lone Star will always have what it needs to go and play for Liberia. I can assure you.”
“The road to AFCON 2027 gave us an important opportunity, but qualification must be a milestone and not a destination.”
Going forward in the next budget, Lonestar budget will get not less than 3 million as it's budget
“If we want another generation of great Liberian footballers, we must build a system that will produce them.”
“I want to commend Bea Mountain Corporation for undertaking and fulfilling their promise to me to construct two football academies in Liberia. When completed, they will be the first of such facilities in Liberia.”
“Our ambition cannot be limited to one qualification campaign or one tournament. We must build a Lone Star that is consistently competitive, professionally managed, properly prepared and continuously supplied with new talent.”
But we must first go beyond the senior men’s team. We must invest in our youth teams. We must invest in women’s football, coaching, competitions, facilities and talent development. Most importantly, we must invest in the grassroots.”
“Talent is everywhere in Liberia. There may be a young midfielder in Nimba, a goalkeeper in Sinoe, a striker in Lofa, or a young woman in Maryland with the ability to represent Liberia at the highest level.”
“Our problem has never been the absence of talent. Our challenge has been building the system necessary to find, develop and support that talent. This must change and should begin now.”
“If Liberia has 15 counties, our football development system must reach all 15 counties.”
Three million, three hundred- nineteen thousand, five hundred ( 3,319,500) United States Dollars raised for the Lonestar. This is inclusive of the President's commitment
