Today, LNDC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business Development and Basotho Enterprise Development Corporation - BEDCO, engaged Lesotho's private sector in preparation for the upcoming BotswanaโLesotho Business Forum and Exhibition.
The briefing session highlighted the importance of approaching the Forum as one united Lesotho delegation in the true spirit of .
Participants gained insights into government-to-government engagements, business-to-business networking and matchmaking opportunities, priority sectors, and the immense potential for trade and investment collaboration between the two countries.
The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by the private sector were truly inspiring. We are now gearing up to showcase our products, enterprises, innovation, and potential in Botswana.

In the true spirit of Letsema, three locally-owned entrepreneurs have come together to create a unique delicacy hub, bringing together mouth-watering pizza and grills, specialty coffee, and authentic gelato and sorbets under one roof.
This collaboration is a shining example of what can be achieved when Basotho businesses work together to create value, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to local economic growth.

Our LNDC ladies looked stunning as they joined other Corporates and Basotho at the Khaba Joalo Ka โMabasotho 2026 celebration in honour of the 50th birthday of Her Majesty Queen โMasenate Mohato Seeiso.
Under the theme "Crowned in Heritage," the evening was a celebration of Basotho culture, unity and service. In the true spirit of Letsema, LNDC was proud not only to participate but also to contribute towards the Hlokomela Bana Foundation, supporting efforts to improve the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children across Lesotho.
We extend our warmest wishes to Her Majesty for many more years of service, grace, and inspiration as she continues to champion the wellbeing of Basotho and the prosperity of our Kingdom.

The LNDC CEO, Mr. Thabo Khasipe was also part of the delegation led by the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Samuel Matekane in engagements with Dubai Chambers, aimed at strengthening trade, investment, and business partnerships between Lesotho and the UAE.
Central to the discussions was the advancement of the Letsema Strategy, with a focus on co-creating world-class Special Economic Zones (SEZs) modelled on JAFZA, to unlock investment opportunities in key sectors and position Lesotho as a competitive hub with seamless access to SACU, SADC, AfCFTA, GCC, and global markets.

June 4, 2026 โ The Right Honourable Prime Minister, Samuel Matekane, led the Kingdom of Lesothoโs engagement with Dubai Chambers in Johannesburg, South Africa, aimed at advancing trade, investment, and business-to-business relations between Lesotho and the United Arab Emirates.
Discussions focused on strategic investment opportunities in infrastructure, mining and energy, tourism, and the development of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) modelled on JAFZA to attract global investment and accelerate economic transformation in Lesotho.
