Dkay envisions a future where q***r and trans people no longer have to fight for recognition and acceptance—a future where families celebrate their LGBTQI+ loved ones openly, and where living authentically is ordinary rather than extraordinary.

Their message to the community is simple: your joy matters. Every moment of happiness, love, and self-acceptance helps create a world where others can see that they, too, belong.

On International Albinism Awareness Day, we’re reminded that visibility is more than being seen. It’s about being recognized as fully human. Albinism isn’t a curse or a rarity to gawk at; it’s one of the many ways human biology expresses itself.

True inclusion means dismantling stigma, ensuring access to healthcare and education, and letting people with albinism define their own stories. When we choose curiosity over fear, we move closer to a world where difference isn’t tolerated but valued!

This Pride Month, we honour the beauty, courage, tenderness, and power of q***r love in all its forms. Love that persists despite barriers. Love that builds community. Love that reminds us we all deserve dignity, belonging, and joy.

Today and every day, we affirm that q***r love is valid, valuable, and worthy of celebration.

Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month is here, and we need to talk for real.

For so long, Basotho men have been told to “suck it up”, “be strong”, “don’t cry”. But holding everything inside doesn’t make you stronger. It makes you tired, angry, and alone.

Struggling with stress, anxiety, or just feeling empty doesn’t make you less of a man. It makes you human.

This month, check on your brothers. Ask “How are you, really?” and wait for the answer. And if it’s you who’s struggling, talk to someone. A friend, a pastor, a counsellor. You don’t have to do this alone. You matter. You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to ask for help.

This Pride Month, let’s talk pronouns!
In Lesotho, we say “motho ke motho ka batho” meaning a person is a person through others. Using someone’s pronouns is part of that.

For non-binary Basotho, pronouns like they/them help people feel seen. It costs nothing, but means everything.
