2 ways of adding SolarHeatCollector (SHC) to electric geyser:

Pt and Tt

Pt: geyser remains in the ceiling or on the house wall; only SHC is installed on the roof; then Circulation Pump (CP) is installed to move water from the geyser to the SHC to be heated up, then back to the geyser; the process repeats over and over until all water in the tank is heated up. The CP is instructed by the controller when to pump and when not to pump water. The controller has Temperature sensors, and these sensors help it to make decisions.

Tt: here the geyser is moved to the roof to be installed together with the SHC. No CP is needed in this case because water is heated through Natural Circulation (NC). In short, the tank is above the SHC and when Sun shines on the SHC, the water in it is heated up, and becomes Weak, and it is pushed to the top of the tank; this lets cold water to enter the SHC. The process also repeats over and over until all water in the geyser is heated up.

Notes: in both cases, geyser electricity is still used as a backup (meaning electricity will be used to heat water during bad days or when SunHeatedWater (SHW) is all used up.
