Nalar

YouTube wants 1,000 subscribers before it pays you a cent. Nalar pays you on sale number one.

No threshold, no waiting months for free. Upload something, a fan buys it, you get 75% straight to M-Pesa or Cpay.

Sign up at nalar.africa. First sale pays.

Your mentorship business shouldn't run on WhatsApp screenshots and a Zoom link that caps out at 100.

On Nalar, your mentees join your Circle (your classroom) and get billed automatically every month — you stop chasing payments and stop re-advertising your own program to people who already signed up last month.

Want to run 1:1 consultations? Set your rate once. Clients book and pay straight from your profile — you don't lift a finger.

And no more Zoom limits. Your Circle scales as big as your community needs to be.

Nalar handles the admin so your business can actually scale. nalar.africa

Welcome to our first official Nalar Founder Q&A.

In this video, Rets'elisitsoe Mathebeng, Founder of Nalar, answers some of the most frequently asked questions about the platform, why it was created, and how it is helping African creators build sustainable careers by earning directly from the value they create.

In this video, we answer:

1. What inspired the creation of Nalar, and what problems did we notice African creators facing?

2. Why aren't existing platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Patreon enough for many African creators?

3. How does Nalar work from the moment a creator uploads their first piece of content?

4. Who is Nalar built for, and what opportunities does it create for African creators?

5. What is the long-term vision for Nalar, and where do we see the platform in the next five years?

Whether you're a content creator, educator, artist, filmmaker, musician, storyteller, organization, or simply curious about what we're building, this video will give you a clear understanding of our mission and how you can be part of it.
