The eve of Beloved Teacher's jubilee birthday started with a concert by my music idol, Hariprasad Chaurasia. The divine bansuri music is played in Auroville's Bharat Nivas (Pavilion of India). A famous performer of Indian classical music and one of the most prominent musicians of today, bansurist Hariprasad Chaurasia, despite being 85 years old, has once again shown that he has no inhibitions about evoking the raga as a living person, and at the same time, that being that is in audible form, comes from what we cannot hear.

Hariprasad Chaurasia became a world renowned in 1967, when he released the CD "Call of the Valley" of improvisations on classical raga themes together with the conductor Shiva Kumar Sharma. This record was once a key to the beauty and mystery of Indian classical music for me.

Mylimo Mokytojo jubiliejinio gimtadienio išvakarės prasidėjo mano muzikos dievaičio Hariprasado Chaurasios koncertu. Dieviška bansurio muzika skambėjo Aurovilio Bharat Nivas (Indijos paviljono) rūmuose. Legendinis klasikinės Indijos muzikos atlikėjas ir vienas žymiausių dabarties muzikantų bansurininkas Hariprasadas Chaurasia, nepaisant, kad jam jau eina 85-ti metai, dar kartą parodė, jog jam nėra jokių kliūčių iššaukti ragą, kaip gyvą asmenį, o kartu ir tą esamybę, kuri girdimu pavidalu ateina iš to, ko mes negirdime.

He also collaborated on several occasions with Pierre Puccinelli, notably on the design of the Green Island (L'Île Verte) district in Grenoble, located in a bend of the Ysére River. When the district was completed in 1967, its three 33-story towers, reaching 98 m, were the tallest residential buildings in Europe.
