Sometimes the most unforgettable places aren’t the biggest cities—they’re the places where people make you feel at home.

This time, I had the privilege of showing my friends something very close to our hearts: the beautiful project my wife, Patty Reis Kerr , helps lead at CETV (Centro Educacional Transformando Vidas) in Lagoa de Pedras, Brazil.

What started as a simple school visit became an unforgettable experience. They were welcomed with genuine love by the students, amazed by their confidence in English, inspired by their curiosity, and immersed in the richness of Brazilian culture through music, theater, capoeira, sports, and, of course, forró.

This wasn’t just about showing them a school.
It was about showing them how education, love, and culture can transform lives.

Thank you to every student, teacher, and family who welcomed us so warmly. You reminded us that the greatest impact isn’t measured by the size of a place, but by the hearts of the people who fill it.

Brazil, you made us proud once again. 🇧🇷❤️
