Dear diary,

In the Netherlands there is a simple rule:
“Doe normaal.”

Don’t show off.
Don’t exaggerate.
Just be normal.

Working with Dutch teams taught us:
results matter more than drama.

Very Dutch.

Dear diary,

We decided to bring a little piece of home to the office and celebrate Moldova’s Independence Day together, with traditional food, personal stories, fun quiz answers, and so many reasons to be proud of where we come from. ❤️

🍽 We enjoyed a traditional Moldovan tasting corner.
📸 We travelled across the country through our colleagues’ photos with “Moldova Through Our Eyes”.
🧠 And we put our Moldova knowledge to the test with a fun Moldova Quiz.

But our favorite part was one simple question:
“What makes you proud of Moldova?”

The answers reminded us that Moldova is about people, traditions, hospitality, memories, wine and home. 🇲🇩❤️

Dear diary,

What better way to say goodbye to summer than with cheese, wine and a sunset in the Moldovan countryside? 🧀🍷

For this month’s , we headed to Pohrebea for a sunset cheese tasting at Fromageria Pohrebea | Brânzeturi artizanale .
We learned the story behind the place, discovered how the cheeses are made, tasted our way through different local varieties, and enjoyed them with fresh bread, honey, almonds and wine.

But the real magic happened when the sun started going down. 🌅
The village got quieter, the sky changed its colors, and suddenly everyone was just sitting there, enjoying the moment.

And, of course, no cheese tasting could end without taking some of our favorites home. 😄
A beautiful summer evening, a beautiful place, and one more piece of Moldova discovered. 💛

Dear diary,

At BackstageIT, even our meeting rooms have their own character. 🎭

Chicago for meetings with a little drama.
Cats when you’re feeling playful. 🐾
Phantom of the Opera for a touch of mystery.
The Auditorium when it’s time to take the stage. 🎤
The Board Meeting Room when things get serious.
And The Fish Tank when all you need is a little peace and quiet… and a meeting with yourself. 🐠

Different rooms for different moods. We definitely have our favourites. ✨

Dear diary,

A little bit of summer, served in a cup. 🍓☀️
For Fruit Cocktail Day, our colleagues turned fresh summer fruits into their own sweet creations. 🍉🍍🍦

With different fruits, toppings, and decorations to choose from, everyone had the chance to create something of their own. ✨

A fun, colorful, and very tasty way to celebrate fruits and summer before saying goodbye to the season. 💛

Dear diary,

In the Netherlands, football is more than a game.⚽️

Everyone has an opinion. 💬
Everyone knows the best strategy.

Working with Dutch teams feels similar:
people care about the result, not just the process. 🎯

Very Dutch.

Dear diary,

Last Friday, we discovered that beer is not just a drink, it is a story, a tradition, and a whole craft behind every sip. 🍺✨

As part of our Discover Moldova, we visited EFES Moldova | Parte a Anadolu EFES for a special Beer Tasting experience. 🍻

We had the chance to taste 4 different types of beer, including a fresh live beer straight from the keg, and discover what makes each one unique.

During the visit, we learned how beer is produced, how to taste it correctly, and why every step of the brewing process matters.

✨ Did you know? The history of beer production at the current Efes Moldova roots back to 1873, when the first brewery in Chișinău was established. More than 150 years of brewing history are still being continued today. 🍺

Another memorable chapter added to our Discover Moldova diary! 💛

Dear diary,

July was a little bit of everything. ☀️

Some BINGO! 🎉
A little AI 🤖
A lot of sunshine ☀️
A few reasons to celebrate 🥂
And plenty of moments that somehow never make it into our calendars. 😄

Here’s July, according to our camera roll. 📸💙

See you in August.

Dear diary,

Giving back has always been part of our culture. Every quarter, we choose a cause that matters and try together to make a small difference.

With June being all about celebrating children, our team collected donations for a specialized public kindergarten that supports children at a higher risk of tuberculosis infection. Last week, we visited them with toys, books, games, and creative supplies, hoping to make their everyday a little brighter. 🧸📚🎨

Seeing the children’s smiles was the best reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be something big. Sometimes, a toy, a book, or a box of crayons is enough to make someone’s day a little happier.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed. Together, we created moments of joy for children who truly deserve them. ❤️
