🪁 Phonics Fun – K for Kite! 🪁 (10.9.26)

Our Little Lilies had a fun and creative phonics activity learning the sound and letter Kk through a Kite Craft! ✂️🎨 By making their own colourful kites, the children practiced recognising the letter Kk, connecting the letter with the /k/ sound, and strengthening their fine motor skills through cutting, sticking, and decorating. 💕✨

Hands-on phonics activities like this make learning more enjoyable and memorable while encouraging creativity, concentration, hand-eye coordination, and confidence. 🌈🪁

🐞 Science – Insect Hunting 🔍🌿

Our Little Lilies became little scientists for the day! 🐜🐞🦋 Through our Insect Hunting activity, the children explored a mini insect world and searched for different insects such as ants, ladybugs, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, and caterpillars. 🔎🌱 They observed the insects carefully, matched them with the picture cards, and discovered more about the tiny creatures around us.

This hands-on science activity helps children develop observation skills, curiosity, concentration, vocabulary, and early scientific thinking. It also encourages children to explore their environment, ask questions, and learn through fun sensory and play-based experiences. 🌈✨
