Especially when you choose to adopt "less-adoptable" pets - like senior pets, those with disabilities or missing limbs, or those often overlooked for not being "pretty" or purebred - you are giving them a truly precious second chance at life. 🩺 Tips for rescuing & adopting safely:

1. 🧤 Avoid direct skin contact. Use thick gloves, a thick cloth, or a thick bag to handle them carefully.

2. 🏥 Bring them to the clinic for a full health check as soon as they are rescued.

3. 💉 Ensure they receive a rabies vaccine and other necessary treatments before bringing them fully indoors.

4. 🏠 Keep them in a separate space away from children and other pets for the first few days to observe them closely.

5. ⚠️ If the animal is highly aggressive, difficult to handle, excessively drooling, or attempting to bite, DO NOT (under any circumstances) approach or handle them. For your own safety, stay at a distance and contact local animal rescue teams or the relevant authorities for help.

🐇 Refusing treats? Leaving hay untouched? Hunched posture? Loud tooth grinding or sudden lethargy?

If their daily routine has shifted, don't guess. These are silent cries for help.

⚠️ Important: Never give human medications to pets unless prescribed by a vet! Even tiny doses can be fatal.
