Join us for a demonstration in solidarity with the LGBTIQ+ community in Turkey on 24/09/26 in front of the Turkish Embassy in Floriana.

We are gathering to protest the escalating state-sponsored hostility, systemic censorship, and violent crackdowns targeting LGBTIQ+ individuals and organizations across Turkey.

Pride marches have been banned nationwide; activists, lawyers and academics face arbitrary arrests and police brutality, and recent legal proposals threaten to further criminalize basic rights under the guise of protecting "family values."

We stand together in hope and solidarity, to demand an immediate end to these human rights violations, to champion freedom of assembly and speech, and to send a clear message to our q***r siblings in Turkey: your struggle is our struggle, and we are behind you.

Hi everyone!☀️ My name is Fabienne, I’m 23 years old and a Social Work student from Germany. For the next six months, I’ll be joining MGRM as an intern and volunteer!

I chose this placement because I strongly believe in equality, inclusion and the right for everyone to live openly and authentically. I’m excited to support MGRM’s work, learn from the LGBTIQ+ community in Malta and gain valuable experience in international social work.
I’m looking forward to meeting new people, contributing to meaningful projects and becoming part of the MGRM family.🤍

This pride, we march to honor how far we’ve come, but above all, we also march because the work remains unfinished. We march for q***r asylum seekers facing deportation, for community members living without legal pathways, and to demand truth and justice for Daphne Caruana Galizia, Sion Grech, Lassana Cisse, and all victims of systemic failure, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Our movement cannot stop at visibility while basic human rights, functional justice, inclusive healthcare, and equal access to housing and education are still denied.

Pride is an ongoing commitment to action over pinkwashing.
We will never assimilate. We will never forget our history. We cannot accept comfort while others face violence, and we cannot claim freedom while others remain in chains.

Keep marching, keep dancing, keep resisting and demanding for justice.
