Hand in Hand helps pupils develop the skills, understanding and confidence to reach their full potential and, as far as possible, lead full and independent lives.
Hand in Hand provides trained and experienced carers to support children, adolescents and young adults with additional needs at home and in the community. 💗
Our carers provide personalised 1:1 support, focusing on developing independence, confidence and essential life skills.
Support can include daily living skills, personal care and hygiene, communication and social skills, routines, leisure activities and community outings, always tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
Our aim is to provide families with reliable, experienced and compassionate support, while helping each individual develop greater independence in their everyday life.

🎂 Happy 22nd Birthday, Kelly! ❤️
Today we celebrate someone who has been part of the Hand in Hand story from the very beginning.
Kelly has quite literally grown up with Hand in Hand. She has watched it grow from its earliest days and has grown alongside it, giving her an understanding of who we are, what we stand for and, most importantly, the children, young people and families at the heart of everything we do.
A huge part of that understanding comes from her own life and from being such an incredible sister to Zayn. She has always been there for him with so much love, patience and understanding. Growing up alongside Zayn has shaped so much of the caring, compassionate young woman Kelly is today, and those qualities shine through in everything she does at Hand in Hand.
She has a very special way with people. She listens, she cares, and she has a warmth and positive energy that people naturally gravitate towards. It is something we hear so often from those around her.
This November, Kelly will graduate, marking the beginning of another exciting chapter. As Hand in Hand continues to grow, she will play a critical role in its future and, in time, help carry forward the organisation she has grown up knowing inside out.
We couldn’t be prouder of everything Kelly has already achieved and even more excited about everything still to come.

A proud moment for Hand in Hand as last Wednesday we celebrated the students who successfully completed the CCP Skills and Transition Enrichment Programme, a Non-Formal Award at MQF Level 1.
The programme was designed to provide students following the Core Curriculum Programme with a structured, inclusive and meaningful learning experience, focusing on practical skills that support greater confidence and independence.
Throughout the programme, students worked on areas including functional and everyday life skills, communication, social and emotional development, independence, teamwork, problem-solving and preparation for life beyond school.
More importantly, we had the privilege of watching new friendships form, confidence grow and students support and learn from one another.
A heartfelt thank you to the families for their trust, to our dedicated team for making the programme possible, to the Ministry for Education who worked together with us to make this programme a success, and to everyone who contributed to this experience.
And most of all, congratulations to our graduates. We are extremely proud of what you have achieved.
