We've visited Crete, and it's stuck with us ever since. Beyond the stunning beaches, we found ourselves drawn into family-run bakeries, quiet backstreets in Rethymno, and the ruins at Knossos, which are far more impressive in person than in photos. Watermelon and feta salad by the sea didn't hurt either.

Last month our General Manager visited Kenya 🇰🇪, and she hasn't stopped raving about it.

The trip started with two nights in Nairobi, with visits to the Giraffe Centre, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Karen Blixen Museum. From there, it was on to Amboseli, staying at Kibo Safari Camp, home to some of Africa's most iconic elephant herds, set against the backdrop of Kilimanjaro. Next was the Maasai Mara, staying at Mara Maisha Safari Camp, with a sunrise hot air balloon over the plains and a visit to a Maasai Manyatta along the way.

Throughout the trip, she also met with our local suppliers and partners, so we know firsthand what makes these destinations so special.
