Audacity was created from a desire to bring exceptional Australian wines to Mauritius, carefully selected not only for what is in the bottle, but also for the people, places and stories behind them.

For us, wine is about more than a product. It is about discovery, connection and creating meaningful experiences.

Every wine in our collection is personally selected by Evelyn because she believes in its quality, its story and the experience it can create.

At its heart, the story of Audacity Wines is about my love of Australian wines and my love of Mauritius.

Before that, my life was very different. I was immersed in the corporate world, working in accounting and tax in Scotland and Australia. Even then, I enjoyed wine and loved trying different styles from around the world, France, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina.

But it wasn’t until I moved to Australia that something changed and my passion for wine deepened.

I started visiting vineyards and experiencing the wines in the place they came from. The vines, the stories, the people, the long relaxed lunches, the memories created with friends and other wine lovers.

Living in Perth, I was fortunate to be just a short drive from the Swan Valley. That’s where wine started to become more interesting for me. It was no longer just about buying a bottle, it became about the grapes, the soil, the seasons, the winemaker, everything that comes together in what we enjoy in the glass.

Then I discovered Margaret River, still very much my happy place. That’s where I fell in love with Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. But again, it wasn’t just the wines. It was the feeling, the sense of place, the overall experience. That’s what really resonated with me.

From there, my curiosity grew. I travelled to Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, Tasmania, Hunter Valley, exploring different regions, different styles, and what makes each one unique.

Over time, I started building my own personal wine collection, choosing wines I genuinely loved and looked forward to enjoying again over time.

Audacity Wines grew from that journey. From a love of wine, yes, but more than that, from a love of the experiences, the stories, and the feeling that wine can create.

And today, I am simply sharing my personal collection and those experiences with Mauritius.
