After 3 years as Hotel Manager at Veranda Belle Mare, Gino Hitié is taking on a new challenge at Veranda Tamarin. Throughout his time at Veranda Belle Mare, Gino has built valuable experience in hotel operations and leadership, while fostering strong connections with his teams. He now brings that experience and enthusiasm to his new role.

At the same time, Hansraj Sakhoo steps into his new role as Hotel Manager at Veranda Belle Mare, following 4 years as Cluster F&B Manager for the Veranda Resorts Cluster. With his background in operations, leadership and F&B, Hansraj brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role, building on the strong foundation he has developed throughout his career.

While their roles may be changing, one thing remains the same: the commitment and passion they bring to hospitality.

Après deux phases riches en apprentissages, Club Mer entame une nouvelle étape de son parcours. Le lancement de cette troisième phase a réuni samedi dernier les jeunes participants, leurs parents et les éducateurs.

Depuis sa création en 2024, le programme, développé en collaboration avec Reef Conservation, accompagne des jeunes dans une véritable découverte de l’univers marin. Au cours des différentes sessions, ils apprennent à mieux connaître l’océan, à évoluer en toute sécurité dans son environnement et, surtout, à comprendre pourquoi il est essentiel de le préserver.🤿🦺🪸

Snorkelling, natation, premiers secours, sécurité en mer, découverte des espèces marines… chaque activité leur permet d’acquérir de nouvelles connaissances tout en développant leur autonomie et leur confiance en eux.

Au-delà des compétences acquises, Club Mer souhaite surtout créer des expériences qui peuvent ouvrir des horizons, susciter des vocations et faire découvrir aux jeunes les nombreuses possibilités offertes par les métiers liés à la mer.

Une aventure que nous sommes fiers de poursuivre aux côtés de Reef Conservation et Eco-Sud en plaçant la jeunesse au cœur de notre engagement pour la protection de notre océan. 🌊

Bringing together our teams in Mauritius and colleagues from our international offices - Nadine Attarian, Simone Roesel and Caroline Tjia - the day was an opportunity to connect, exchange perspectives and align around our ambitions for 𝐂𝐀𝐏 𝟐𝟗.🎯

From Sales and Communications to Pricing and Marketing, our respective leaders shared insights, priorities and key areas of focus as we continue to strengthen our collective approach and drive business performance.

Beyond the presentations, it was about bringing our expertise together, challenging our thinking and ensuring we move forward with a shared direction.

À Bel Ombre, la Place du Moulin a accueilli vendredi dernier la première édition du Marché du Tourisme. ✨

Le temps d'une journée, artisans, acteurs du tourisme, habitants et voyageurs se sont retrouvés autour du savoir-faire mauricien : ses saveurs, ses gestes, ses récits et les visages qui le portent.

« Maurice possède de nombreux atouts, mais c'est avant tout la touche humaine, l'accueil et le sourire des nombreuses personnes qui font vivre ce secteur, qui rendent l'île véritablement magique aux yeux des visiteurs », souligne Nadine Curpanen William, People Development Manager chez Heritage Resorts & Golf.

Une initiative imaginée et portée par les collaborateurs d'ER Hospitality, en dernière année de formation à @‌polytechnicsmauritiusltd, dans le cadre de leur évaluation académique finale. Un projet qui a mis à l'honneur le sud, ses artisans et un tourisme ancré dans son territoire.

• Strong leadership, team development, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in premium dining and elevated lifestyle environments, including gastronomic catering, premium events and special functions, with a strong understanding of high-end Mediterranean beach club service codes.
• Strong commitment to sustainability, quality service, and brand integrity.
