At Dukesbridge, happiness doesn't depend on the weather! ๐๐ง๏ธ
We often say to children that they are the leaders of tomorrow, but they should really think of themselves as the leaders of today. This was a very powerful insight by Ms Lisa Simrique Singh, the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Mauritius, during her visit to Dukesbridge last week on the occasion of International Day of Peace.

Her visit was a meaningful opportunity for our students to reflect on the importance of peace, respect, understanding and living together harmoniously, reminding us that building a more peaceful world starts with the choices we make every day.
Our Secondary students also had the opportunity to sit down with Ms Singh for a special question-and-answer session, putting their questions to her and learning more about her work with the United Nations.
๐ฅ Stay tuned for the student interview coming soon!
