❄️ World Refrigeration Day 2026

Celebrated every year on 26 June, World Refrigeration Day highlights the essential role refrigeration, air conditioning, and cold-chain technologies play in modern life — from food preservation and healthcare to logistics and global trade.

This year’s theme, “Cool Intelligence”, shines a light on the smart technologies and innovative systems shaping a more efficient and sustainable future for the industry.

At MFD, we are proud to embrace this vision. In 2025, our cold storage facilities were fully modernised to improve energy performance and reinforce our environmental commitment. Thanks to a new triple cascade Ammonia/Glycol/CO2 system, we achieved a 30% reduction in energy consumption while ensuring high operational safety and optimised thermal management.

Because at MFD, cold chain logistics is driven by innovation, efficiency, and intelligent solutions built for tomorrow.
